For Santa Gula, an underground pasta restaurant in Barrio Escalante, I created a series of graphic and motion design pieces that embrace the brand’s provocative and playful identity. The visual concept draws on the aesthetics of adult-film DVD covers, using strategic censorship and suggestive framing to highlight the sensual act of eating pasta. This approach allowed the brand to communicate its irreverent personality with humor, confidence, and a clear visual point of view. I also designed a collection of collages inspired by 1940s and 1950s pin-up illustration, placing flirtatious figures inside pasta containers to create unexpected, cheeky compositions that reinforce the restaurant’s mischievous tone. To extend the identity onto social media, I produced animated pieces featuring provocative phrases paired with various dishes on the menu, enhancing engagement and giving the brand a dynamic, contemporary presence online.
