Developed a coherent narrative and a layered protagonist under extreme time constraints, guiding performance and story development in real time during the shoot. The film was produced entirely within 48 hours as part of the “Las 48” competition, which requires teams to generate a concept, write the script, complete pre-production, shoot, edit, and score a short film in a single weekend.
In this project, I collaborated closely with the screenwriter and editor to shape the narrative as it evolved during production, ensuring coherence despite the accelerated workflow. I also worked intensively with our lead actress to build a nuanced emotional arc that could be achieved within the strict time limitations. The competition’s format demanded rapid decision-making, flexible directing, and the ability to maintain story clarity while responding to on-set challenges—including casting, performance direction, and structural adjustments made on the fly.
