“Canción 38” follows Bonnie, whose quiet night walk takes a sharp turn when she witnesses a crime. Shocked by what she sees, she begins an investigation that pulls her into a chain of strange encounters—events and characters that gradually reshape her perception of the world.
As writer and director, I oversaw the entire conceptual development of the video, crafting the narrative, animatic, and storyboard before moving into production. On set, I directed both actors and background talent, guiding performance tone and pacing to align with the video’s surreal and investigative mood. I worked in close collaboration with the Art and Camera teams to design and execute layered environments, ensuring that each space supported the emotional and visual progression of the story. The project demanded a blend of narrative precision and strong visual world-building, allowing me to integrate storytelling and craft across every phase.
