For Música y Margaritas, the music festival organized by the Master’s in Music Industry and Sound Studies at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, I developed the branding and visual identity, including the official poster, logo, and digital assets. The creative approach centered on a sketch-style illustration, designed to feel spontaneous, energetic, and aligned with the festival’s youthful atmosphere. Working within a pre-established color palette, I crafted a cohesive visual language adaptable across print and social media formats.
The visual identity draws inspiration from 1970s psychedelic posters, incorporating fluid shapes, expressive line work, and dynamic composition to evoke the era’s vibrant musical culture. This blend of retro references and contemporary design sensibilities resulted in a bold, recognizable identity that captures the spirit of the festival and supports its communication across platforms.
