For “Adiós,” I served as Art Director, shaping a visual world that captures both the nostalgic simplicity of retro stage performances and the emotional intensity of Moni Motes’ delivery. Working closely with director Rochi Lamastra, I created a stripped-back performance space centered on the artist and her spotlight, supported by a carefully curated blue, brown, and gold color palette to evoke warmth, melancholy, and classic musical staging traditions. The video alternates between clean, composed shots and camcorder footage, requiring an art direction approach that could accommodate two visual textures while maintaining a coherent atmosphere. As the performance intensifies, the aesthetic shifts; transporting the artist into a dark, almost otherworldly room, where the environment becomes more expressive and immersive. My role focused on ensuring a seamless tonal transition between these worlds, while reinforcing the emotional arc of the song through minimal yet intentional design choices.
