I co-founded Frecuencia Lavanda, a live music platform created in Costa Rica alongside Camila Prieto and María Paula Cordero as a response to the cultural budget cuts of 2022. The project was conceived to uplift emerging women and LGBTQI+ musicians while promoting independent audiovisual production in the country. Its objective is both artistic and social—expanding visibility for underrepresented voices and fostering a more inclusive creative industry.
Within the platform, I have acted as an Executive Producer for most of the recorded sessions, overseeing development, logistics, team coordination, and the overall production workflow. For the Jessik Matus session, I stepped into the role of On-Set Producer, managing a large crew inside an active restaurant and adapting the production to real-time constraints. I secured Bar Legends in Cartago as the primary location, leveraging its distinct retro atmosphere to enrich the visual storytelling of the session. My work focused on maintaining cohesion across departments and ensuring that the live-recording environment remained controlled, efficient, and creatively aligned.
